Who we are

This website is operated by Digital Energy Group AG, Gartenstrasse 7, 6300 Zug, Switzerland, registration number CHE-408.639.320 (the "controller"). For any question about this notice or your personal data, contact info@digital-energy.group.

What we collect and why

We collect personal data in two situations only:

• When you submit our contact form: your name, work email address, company name, and message. We use this data to respond to your inquiry and to follow up on it.
• When you email us directly at an address published on this site: the content of your email and your contact details. We use this data to reply to you.

We do not collect any other personal data through this website. If you book a call, the HubSpot Meetings page loads inside a window on this site; HubSpot's privacy notice applies to what you enter there. If you subscribe to updates, we store your email address to send them; every update contains an unsubscribe link.

Legal basis

We process contact form submissions and inbound email on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where you actively send us information through the form, we also rely on the consent you express by submitting it (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Who processes your data

Contact form and newsletter submissions are handled by a function on our website server (Vercel Inc., hosted in Frankfurt; access logs with IP addresses are kept for security) and delivered to our mailbox through the email service Resend (European Union region). Vercel and Resend act as our processors. With your consent, analytics data is processed by Hotjar Ltd (Malta, Contentsquare group) as described in our Cookie Policy. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties other than these processors.

How long we keep your data

We keep inquiry data for as long as needed to handle your inquiry, and no longer than 24 months, unless a business relationship follows. In that case we keep the data for the duration of that relationship and any legally required retention periods.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets analytics cookies (Hotjar) only after you accept them in the cookie bar. No tracking pixels, no advertising technology. Details, retention periods and how to withdraw are in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased;
• restrict or object to our processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@digital-energy.group. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); you may also contact the authority competent for your place of residence.

We may update this notice from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
